We're back with our friend Brian Barczyk from AnimalBytesTV to learn about another cool pet reptile CRESTED GECKOS!
Crested geckos (Rhacodactylus ciliatus) make great pet reptiles! They originate from New Caledonia and are generally nocturnal. They are very hardy animals that are very easy to care for. Crested geckos don't have eyelids but they can lick their eyeballs with their tongue! They have prehensile tails that can grab on to things. And just like leopard geckos, they can drop their tails when threatened. They can be found in a variety of colors and are very fun to play with if you don't mind them jumping on you!
