Lizard Fight! (or maybe a really rough mating thing?)

My friend caught this in his drive way. The fight went on for about 45 minutes. Unfortunately his camera died at that point, so he went in for batteries, when he came back out they had taken their... interaction(?) elsewhere. He was pretty pissed that he didn't get to see the end.
If you're a lizard scientist, could you please explain what you think is happening?
