U. o. ornata Breeding Attempt

This is the first, and somewhat unplanned, breeding attempt between my adult male ornata and the older female. I was planning to wait another few weeks, but while I had her enclosure open she decided to climb up my arm and onto my shoulder, so I figured I'd let her into the male's enclosure to see if they were ready. Just as she had done in previous years, she b-lined it to the basking area/the male. I wasn't expecting a successful lock, but he eventually managed it, and stayed positioned for about five minutes.
