ethology = the study of animal behavior. here are Jesse and Nessa. they've had a very tough year, they've spent much more time than ever before connecting with each other in this manner. This is a very tactile means of emotional support. If one were to attach monitors to horses such as these , it would not be a surprise to me if it was discovered that their blood pressure lowered and their pulse slowed. Horses are extremely social ( and emotional ) animals.
