Winter time, our human(e) responsibility in care for Horses and other animals

Winter time, in our country the land is to wet to let the Horses walk safe in the field. They can easy slip and get injured. So for us it means that our Horses spend more time in the barn.
I was a little upset that our neighbor did not gathered his Geese back to the house. They are domesticated animals and are not able to take care of themselves.
So a few weeks later they indeed died. That makes me so sad.
Please whatever you do, take responsibility.
