I had a tough case of rain rot that would not go away. I tried the following things it did not work"
Honey
Dawn Dish Washing Soap
Excalibur Sheath Cleaner
Hydrogen Peroxide
Anti Bacterial Soap
Neosporin
Triple Antibiotic ointment
Desitin
Sudocrem
Hibiclens wash

Nothing to seem to get rid of it. I finally tried BETADINE SURGICAL SCRUB with Povidone-iodine, 7.5% (0.75% available iodine) and it seems to be working.

Walmart has Equate: Povidone-Iodine Solution, 10% Topical Microbicide Antiseptic, 8 fl oz: appears to be the same thing.

Later up the scabs of the rain rot and after they soak and get real moist the Curry Comb does a GREAT job at remove them so the medication and get to the root of the problem.
