In this video I am with Wiser and Landing sharing with you how to check your horse over to make sure they are in good health.

It is important to look your horses over daily. This is a preventive measure to catch any health issues that may occur with your horse.

Check the horse eyes to make sure they are clear and bright. Look at their nose, check for drainage.

Check the horses mouth to make sure their teeth are in good shape. Run your hands down the legs to check for any lumps or swelling.

Move over to the belly and back, again checking for lumps or swelling that may have ac cured when rolling in their stall or out in the pasture.

Look at their feet and make sure that they are dirt free and dry.

Check the horses hind quarters, look for diarrhea, this could be a sign of something going on inside the horses system.

If your horses head is held high ears are perky and he looks at you with a smile you are good to go for the day.

If your horse is showing signs of laziness or sluggishness you may have to call your vet.
