This short video shows Mountain Brook Farm - Pasture Breeding Stallion - MRM Black Magic - turned out in courtship with our Brood Mare - Riveranch Angelique, 2017.
Just popping in to say hello 👋. For those that are not aware of breeding psychology I feel I have to pop in every now and then to help clue you inside what is happening in this video. This video is up and public for educational purposes. Breeding horses for the most part is very basic; however, for some horses it’s just not that simple.
The mare turned out with my stud in this video is not allowing the stud to cover.
The mare has had foals in the past though it’s been 9 or 10 years and as many horses loose herd instinct from living stall lives, with geldings or without a stallion.... so has this mare.
Successful cover was achieved by turning this mare and another mare both out together with the stallion. The Mares became competitive for the stallion and he bred the other first. The mare in this video then allowed the stallion to breed her several times and even prevented the other mare from being covered.
Before making negative comments it’s wise to look through the rest of the videos on this channel and perhaps read a little bit.
Then again say what you want as it’s a reflection of the fact it’s simply what you see, what you understand and of what You think you know.
