Final Preparations for Breeding: Horse Lineage and Breeding Payment.
Dear Players!
We have already implemented most of the functionality related to the breeding system. During the next week we will perform the final testing and if everything goes well, the fully implemented breeding system will be introduced next Saturday (September 30th).
Today we are adding the horse lineage feature. The horse lineage is a very important factor, as your horse's parents and grandparents will influence foal appearance and stats. Each parent, which has the same coat as the foal, adds +2 to the lineage value. Each grandparent, which has the same coat as the foal, adds +1 to the lineage value. The coat of the foal itself always adds +1 to the lineage value. Therefore, the maximum lineage value of any horse is +9. The higher is the lineage value, the higher are the chances of the parent coat being inherited. In order to see the horse lineage, simply right-click on any horse in the breeding list.
Also today we are introducing the Breeding Payment mail. Each time you register your horse for breeding, you will pay the registration fee, which is 50% of the selected breeding cost. When you unregister your horse, you will receive a Breeding Payment mail. The total breeding payment is calculated as breeding cost, multiplied by the breeding count. When you receive your breeding payment, you will automatically pay 50% taxes to the system. This means that in order to make profit, your registered horse should be used for breeding more than once. As the breeding is not working yet, the system will automatically increment the breeding count for your horse up to 1, which means that during the test week you will just receive back the same amount of carrots, which you used for registration. Note that normally horses should be automatically unregistered from the breeding system after 24 hours, which will be implemented next week.
