RARE Caspian Horses looking for Breeding Homes

Dislike 0 Published on 25 Feb 2019

We still have several (rescued) Caspian Mares, and one Gelding, to re-home. This is a "critically endangered" breed, once thought to be extinct. They were re-discovered in 1965, in Northern Iran. Only 1100, still exist in the world. There is a concerted effort by Caspian breeders in Europe, UK, Austrailia, Canada, and the USA, ... to keep this breed from going extinct again. These horses are full grown, and with their gentle, inteligent nature, ... they make superb children's horses and driving horses. At the time of posting, we still have 7 mares, and one Gelding available. If you are interested in acquiring a couple of these mares (they do like their own company) to set up a breeding program, .... please email; Ms. Victoria Tollman, with EST, (Equus Survival Trust) in North Carolina, at; equussurvivaltrust@yahoo.com for details.

Note: These horses are currently being cared for near Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
