Equine - Breeding Barn

The breeding program at Morrisville State College has a 32-stall barn dedicated for its use. Students learn how to foal out mares and also learn about mare and foal management. Morrisville State College has approximately 40 brood mares that are bred each year, and students have the opportunity to breed and foal out client mares within this facility. There are approximately 75 brood mares and foals on campus each year.
The breeding barn is equipped with indoor wash racks and a unique ventilation system that controls and improves air quality.
