This recipe is safe for the following hamsters:

Roborovski dwarf hamsters
Campbell's dwarf hamsters
Syrian hamsters

If your hamster is diabetic, do not feed it fruits or other foods high in sugar. Fruits and other sugary foods should not be given to Chinese dwarf hamsters or Russian dwarf hamsters as they are prone to diabetes. Campbell's dwarf hamsters are at a lower risk for diabetes, but they should still be given sugary foods sparingly to avoid the risk. Roborovski dwarf hamsters and Syrians are okay to eat fruits in moderation. Please remember to use treats and fresh foods only in moderation! They should never replace your hamster's regular food mix as that has vital nutrients and even teeth trimming benefits your hamster needs. :]
