Here is the all important Description Bar!!!! PLEASE READ ME!!!!!
I didn't want this video to be overly long, I just wanted it short and to the point. So I'm adding all of the extra information here, so put on your reading glasses (if needed) and continue to read. :D
You are REQUIRED to give your hamsters fruits and vegetables because their normal seed mix doesn't have all of the nutrients and vitamins that they need. Fruits and vegetables provide that nutrients and vitamins and those are essential for your hamster to have. If you have a diabetic hamster you should not be feeding your hamster fruits or in VERY VERY VERY limited amounts because fruits have a lot of natural sugar. If you have a dwarf hamster, dwarf hamsters are prone to diabetes so make sure your giving your hamster fruit in limited amounts. You should give your hamster fruits and vegetables almost everyday, about 4-5 times a week. One of those days you need to give your hamster a "salad" which consists of a lot of variety of fruits and vegetables. Remember every hamster is different so they aren't going to like every single one of these fruits & vegetables. When you first get your hamster, you should try finding out what your hamster's favorite fruits and vegetables are. Your hamster can have other foods besides just fruits and vegetables. They also enjoy having meats and they also need protein.
I will now give you a list of all the safe foods for dwarf hamsters that were mentioned in the video. The list is also on my website: http://www.hammiegirls3114.webs.com/
