Mikan, my foster syrian hamster and her 8 newborn pups

Recently, there was a case of irresponsible breeding where the previous owner did not separate a female n male syrian. Within months, the population grew to be 31. Initially he had thoughts of selling the babies but as time passed, nobody bought them. He kept 8-10 syrian in plastic storage drawers, and on pine wooden pellets, all in a small room with no ventilation. He had given up and surrendered all to a kind lady who rescued them.
Im helping her foster 2 females which had the pear shaped body, knowing they were going to deliver soon. True enough, Mikan gave birth the very next day. I have housed her in a simple ikea bin and provided her with lots of soft paper based bedding and shredded tissues. She is on a diet of harry hamster, supreme science selective pellets, oxbow healthy handfuls, with add ins like organic mix (seeds, grains), wheatgerm, oats.
These are day 1 of the pups lives, and their journey continues...
As i said in my previous video, please separate hamsters or any animal according to gender, otherwise they will breed continuously. Also, syrians are solitary animals and must live alone. This set up is temporary, but a full set up should include wheel, hideouts, toys, food bowl and a water bottle.
The babies will be ready to leave to new homes in a months time. No charges for adoption but do note that i will be screening any potential adopters.
