- Cage Information -
This cage is the Ikea Detolf display cabinet (Link http://goo.gl/gm4UKD ). The cabinet can easily be converted into a hamster or mouse cage by assembling it without the shelves or door laying it down on it's back so that it can act as a tank style cage (Find my full review of the cage here - http://goo.gl/noMw9l ). My detolf has been divided in half using a piece of wood (tutorial here - http://goo.gl/xPTOQ0 ) so that it can house two hamsters separately, each half measure around 500sq inches. I have also built two simple mesh lids to keep the hamsters safe from our cat and to prevent escapes (lid tutorial here - http://goo.gl/RmbCfD )
