A guinea pig has left head tilt

12 Aug 2015. Eye discharge and left head tilt. Ears are very dirty. Grooming is done. Ear cleaning daily. The left head tilt would be due to dirty left ears. The owner does not know how to clean the ears.
The two eyes discharge pus as the guinea pig is sick. There need to be ear irrigation under sedation as the guinea pig moves a lot. Not much head tilt to the left now.
One of the causes of head tilt is ear infections, esp. middle ear infections. Antibiotics are prescribed. The guinea pig has since reovered.
