The guinea pig is clipped as he has matted hairs all over the body.. Eye discharge shows the guinea pig is very ill. Ears are dirty. As part of grooming, the matted hairs are clipped away first. Then he is bathed and his ears and eyes and backside with stool and urine stains are cleaned.
