Mimi Gets Some New Stuff-Read Description

READ!!!This is REALLY old. I just thought I might upload it, now. Mimi got some new stuff and even though she acted shy in the beginning, she has come to love her new little house. In the beginning of the video, she only ran in because I was trying to put the hammock in and it scared her. Anyway, we realised what the problem with the hammock was. The fact that it was moving, scared Mimi very much. And it was too high. But after putting it closer to the ground (it actually touches the bedding of the cage) and putting Mimi into it a few times and putting her food into it, Mimi started to,like the hammock. For about 3 weeks, Mimi was scared of the hammock. Now, she goes into it every now and then. She even spent a whole afternoon in it once! It's furry and comfortable for guinea pigs and I totally reccomend it.
About the house: Guinea pigs always need little hideaways or they will become uneasy. They will feel uncomfortable, won't let you touch them and even bite. (personal experience). DON'T put in CARDBOARD BOXES for your guinea pig. It's NOT GOOD FOR THEM. Wood isn't recommended because if they pee on it, it will smell. Houses made out of china are recommended. But, Mimi licked it and started to bite it and she ate off the paint. To teach her not to do this, I sprayed water on her every time she bit it or licked it. I'ts working.
So, that's my advice and experimence. Enjoy the video! Bye!
