Healthy Guinea Pig Pellet Research - Switching to non-Wheat & Soya based Pellets

Dislike 0 Published on 4 Mar 2018

Pellets are an important part of a guinea pig's diet to ensure that they are getting all the nutrition and vitamins that they require, however not all pellets are healthy and contain a lot of 'filler' foods such as wheat and soya which can cause digestive upset for guinea pigs.

This video looks at my research into the top branded pellets when I was thinking about switching from Harringtons Optimum Guinea Pig Food which contained wheat to a non-wheat or soya based pellet.

After a lot of research, I finally found a brand of pellets that was wheat and soya-free - Woodlands Meadow Nuggets with Lavender & Mint.
