Fishless Cycling an Aquarium with Guinea Pig Poop | GuineaDad

Many people cycle their aquarium tank by adding a hardy fish, but we thought it was a less humane thing to do. We decided to fishless cycle. Instead of just adding pure ammonia or fish food, we decided to do a little experiment. We added guinea pig poop to see if the ammonia levels will rise from poop decay. Is this weird? Has anyone else wondered if this would work? Let us know in the comments below!
