Guinea Pig Vegetables

A snapshot from the day in the life of our guinea pigs' diet! We're heading on an overseas trip soon, hence not updating much lately, but we'll have one video a week up while we're gone.
Guinea pigs can have about a cup of veggies a day, per pig. Leafy greens are best, but avoid iceberg lettuce as there's next to no nutritional value and too much water gives them poop troubles. Nobody needs that!
We give our girls veggies every day, so about half a cup each per pig per meal. We give them leaves every meal, but try to make sure they get different veggies in the morning and night to give them a well-rounded diet. We only feed them fruit and berries twice a week as they don't need that much sugar, and they get plenty of vitamin C from the other veggies.
Carrot, as you can see, is fine, although probably not good for every single meal, but there's no real consensus there. Tomatoes are good and, as you can see from Elsa's beard, very much loved! Capsicum is a great veggie for pigs, as well as cucumber, zucchini, and beetroot. Most herbs are okay, but as they're very nutrient-rich they don't need much, or often.
