Herbie the Guinea Pig learning the turn command

I taught Herbie how to turn today. Little guy figured it out in 15 minutes. This trick is really easy to teach if you guinea pig trusts you and you use their most favorite food to teach (in Herbie's case it was lettuce).
I used to train dogs - and training a piggie is no different from training a dog. Piggies are pretty fast learners!
To teach the turn, use the food to lure your piggie to do a circle, and AS they do it, say "turn" (don't say it too many times as it'll confuse them). Once a turn is done, IMMEDIATELY feed them the treat and give praises (timing is key so they associate turn = food).
After doing it a few times, try saying turn without luring them with food (or use only your hand to lure them to a circle if they forget). With patience they should be able to turn when they hear the command. Or even sometimes - they'd turn continuously without command just to impress you whenever they want food, haha!
Now Herbie - turn that floofy butt!!! :D
