Info:
Water- give your guinea pigs fresh water everyday. Make sure they ALWAYS have some available.

Pellets- give 1/8-1/4 cup of pellets per pig. 1/8 cup recommended. Pellets are a good source of fortified vitamins and nutrients your guinea pigs need. Dump out old and give new everyday. Make sure they are timothy based. Do NOT buy pellets that have added seeds, nuts, and other treats. (AKA fiesta mixes). Only pellet based.

Hay- provide your guinea pigs with UNLIMITED hay. Timothy, orchard, etc. are best to use. You may use alfalfa hay but ONLY for babies (under 6 months) and pregnant or nursing guinea pigs. Timothy is my personal favorite. Hay is most important along with water. Main part of their diet. Good for their digestive system and teeth.

Veggies & Fruits-
Leafy greens are best for your guinea pigs. Mine love romaine lettuce. Do NOT give your piggies iceberg lettuce, it has no nutritional value and can give them diarrhea. You may give your pigs fruits, just not as often because they are high in sugars. No more than 3 times a week, at most! Give about 1 cup veggies per pig per day. Some favorites among my pigs are:
Cucumbers, romaine lettuce, bell peppers, celery, carrots, etc. For fruits, apples, oranges, strawberries, etc.
