Concerns:
Bigger Cage: I will be building them a C & C grid cage that is 5 by 2 1/2 in the summer when I have more time, money, and when the coronavirus is over so we can get the supplies
Veggies: I feed them zucchini (3-4 times a week), celery (2 times a week), carrots (2 times a week), bell pepper (everyday), and romaine lettuce (everyday), a cup of veggies per day
Hay Racks: I have 2 hay racks that hold quite a bit of hay and fill them super full every 3-4 hours and don’t think I need new ones
Pellets: I have tried several pellets and they only seem to like the ones I have right now I might in the future try different pellets but for now I think they are fine
Good size cage for guinea pigs:
1 piggy: 2ft by 3ft
2 pigs: 3ft by 3ft
3 pigs: 4ft by 4ft
How much food should they get:
Hay: Unlimited amount, meaning it should always be available
Pellets: Optional and don’t need to be fed all the time, probably just 1/8 per guinea pig
Vegetables: Should get a cup of veggies a day, I usually feed 1 cup in the morning and 1 cup at night for my 2 guinea pigs
