Taking Your Guinea Pigs Outside

Hello everyone!
TAKING YOUR GUINEA PIGS OUTSIDE
Never let your guinea pigs roam freely. Always make sure you have a spacious run for your guinea pigs to stay in.
If it's a warm day, it's a good idea hang a blanket up so your guinea pigs have some shade.
You can also add some toys to make the outdoors more fun and interesting for your guinea pigs.
Make sure you have plenty of fresh water for your guinea pigs as on a hot day, they need lot's of water.
Adding some pellets, hay and vegetables is totally up to you, but it makes it more fun for your guinea pigs so I added some extra food.
I've added some romaine lettuce and some watermelon because watermelon is nice and refreshing for your guinea pigs.
I've hidden the vegetables so my guinea pigs can have a nice forage.
I've kept the watermelon in a bowl so if the pigs get hot, they can easily reach the watermelon.
Make sure you have plenty of houses for shade in your guinea pigs run. Never have plastic houses in your guinea pigs run because the heat is attracted to those houses and if your guinea pig is inside that house snoozing, they can very easily get heat stroke. Instead, have some wooden bendy log houses.
Make sure no other pets are around to worry or frighten your guinea pigs. Also, NEVER leave your guinea pigs unsupervised.
Once you have all of those things ready, you can add in your guinea pigs and let them enjoy!
Enjoy everyone! :))
