New Guinea Pigs
I did not intend to get anymore guinea pigs however a girl on Instagram contacted me and told me that she found out her brother is allergic to her guinea pigs and she was very upset about this because she knew she had to give them away: She then got her guinea pigs a hutch (they previously lived in a spacious homemade cage) and kept them outside as this way her brother would not be affected.
After a few weeks she decided that her guinea pigs were not happy in the hutch and being a very responsible owner, she contacted me again to see if I would be willing to have them. Yes, she could have given her guinea pigs to to a rescue but then she would never be able to see them again. After discussing the situation with my parents, we agreed that I would give her guinea pigs a new home - this way she will always be able to see them and I can give her regular updates. We both met half way to get the guinea pigs (as we live several hours away from each other).
What are their names?
They are called Oreo and Multy - as we already have an Oreo, it is getting quite confusing having 2 of them so I would like to change their names but only if that is okay with their previous owner.
How many guinea pigs do you have now?
I have 10 altogether - 1 neutered boar and 9 sows :)
