How to approach shy Guinea pigs (And Guinea pigs in general)

Hi guys!
Hopefully some of.you find this helpful .
Remember if you get babies it's going to take awhile for their natural scatter reflex to wear off this can take up to 10-12 months .
The more.you handle them the better they will get and relax for you .
Another good thing to remember is generally a good matching pair, you will have a confident piggy and a piggy who is shyer . Dominant and submissive.
2 dominants will not often go well and 2 submissives won't pair well either.
Too often I meet piggy parents who feel like they've done something wrong and the shy piggy doesn't like them .It's not personal :)
