Guinea pigs are adorable, right? They're soft, quiet, and make great pets for young kids.
Not so much in Peru, though.
There, guinea pig is a national delicacy.
According to CNN, they're most often fried or roasted, and eaten in the Andean region.
The meat is low-fat and apparently tastes like rabbit.
