2011.10.09 Introducing Aimee & Vicki Baby Guinea Pigs

These 2 baby guinea pigs (Aimee and Vicki) are sisters and are 5 weeks old (as the date this video is uploaded). They are not babies that I have bred but are in fact rescue guinea pigs. Had they not been rescued by the RSPCA then they were destined to become ferret food. Even though the UK is seen as a nation of animal lovers, things like this continue to happen.
This may sound shocking but at least these two young female guinea pigs can grow up into happy healthy adults and live with my existing colony. They have been accepted quite quickly by my other females and now live with them.
