One of the many critters on the farm. THE GOAT.

Although she has since moved on to "freezer camp" this little critter was a free pickup we got last spring. We let her feed on the weeds and brush around the homestead for most of the spring, summer and into fall. She was mean, kicked like a mule, and worked very hard to destroy everything I've ever built, but she still managed to impress me with her intelligence and abilities to tick me off.
Goats can be a real assest on a small homestead like this, and I have no doubt that this won't be the last one I ever own. We've been working on upgrading a barn to house 3 of them for breeding/milking and we certainly still have the land to let them self feed.
