Gordon and the Whale.com interviews a goat for THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS

This is Peanut the goat, for without, the film would simply be called THE MEN WHO STARE. And who wants to watch 93 minutes of men in a staring contest? I dont care how dashing Clooney is or how much boyish charm McGregor has, that film would be as bland as the molasses cookies that seem to be Peanuts favorite delicacy.

Instead, what you have is a performance so powerful that it could sweep this years Animal Academy Awardsif they existed. It rivals that of Lassies in LASSIE and Old Yeller in OLD YELLER. Some even say that Peanut could be the next Marlon Brando or James Dean, with the possibility of crossing over into human roles a very likely dream.

Ever since his first appearance on screen as the goat who serves as a happy meal for the Tyrannosaurus in JURASSIC PARK, Peanut has taken the animal acting world by storm. His dedication to his characters, his depth, his emotion he shows on screen. All top-notch. His performance in THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS is no different.
