Goats on the Go visits Pattonville

Goats On The Go - St Louis West uses goats to take care of overgrown weeds advertising themselves as an option that's good for the environment. Students were able to watch the goats in action on Tuesday afternoon at Pattonville High School.
"In my Applied Science class, we've been talking about sustainability," Pattonville High School science teacher Ms. Amy Schwendemann said. "This summer, the weeds kind of took control of our garden and won the little battle so we were looking at different ways that we can help control the weeds that are in here."
She was in the car with her husband, social studies teacher Mr. Brian Schwendemann, when they heard the answer.
"We were actually driving into work on our first day back from this summer and we were listening to the radio and Erika with Goats On The Go was actually a guest on their show and that's how we found out about them."
The goats will remain at the high school for a couple of days to finish clearing the area.
