Phase 1 of our Gift a Goat program was awesome! The community actively participated in the training provided by Helene and Dana. The students learned how to care for, milk and breed their new goats. 35 goats were purchased and 32 more will be purchased over the next month. The team will return in March 2015 to provide more training and goat check-ups. This is just the start of what will be an ongoing project to help the community in Marbial develop a sustainable livestock program.
