Hi all, welcome back to our channel Stepping Stone Farm NZ. Today one of our top breeding goats gave birth to a stunning kid. This kid has the potential to be one of our best goats ever! Our Ultimate Kiwi Goat.
We crossed our Ultimate buck - affectionately named Big Balls - he's a Boer cross Saanen with excellent features and great feet - we bred him with one of our top nanny goats, Cream. Cream is 3/4 wild with a touch of Saanen.
Our breeding goal is for our goats to be parasite resistant, large bone structure, great feet, good meat growth rate, excellent mothers and decent milkers! I know, that's a lot! but we want a great all round goat - an ultimate kiwi goat. Our goal is to have a herd of these Ultimate kiwi goats - so we can improve not only our herd but the herds of all the people who choose to purchase ultimate kiwi goats from us.
