FTC Cashmere Goat Breeding Farm (360°)

The founder and CEO of FTC Cashmere, Andreas Knezovic, visits our goat breeding farm regularly. He took us along on his latest trip. Explore the farm and spend some time with some of our lovely cashmere goats. Don't worry, they don't bite.

Cashmere is harvested only once a year, when the goats are shedding between winter and summer. The farmers comb out the fine underdown of the goats to obtain the rawmaterial for your beloved FTC Cashmere knitwear.

Our goat breeding farm is located in the Shanxi province. The roughly 106,000 square meter FTC Cashmere Goat Breeding Farm houses a maximum of 5,000 goats annually from FTC Cashmere. Each year 2,000-3,000 animals leave the breeding farm and are delivered to the goat farmers of the region.
FTC Cashmere has an exclusive agreement with the local government and the farmers for the delivery of raw cashmere at a fair market price plus markup. In this form it is unique worldwide.
