UK: Mega cute micro-piglets give London pet lovers spring fever

Animal lovers flocked to check out a range of cute critters on show at the 2014 National Pet Show in Earls Court Exhibition centre in West London, Saturday. Micro pigs, a type of domestic miniature pig renown for its tiny size, drew doting crowds, especially a farrow of tiny micro-piglets still suckling from their mother.

The pets could be petted for a cost of £2 (€2.5 euro) ($3 USD), with adult pigs taking part in a short race. To buy a micro pig of your own, you will need to part with £650 (€800 EUR/$1,000 USD) or 2 for £1100 (€1,350 EUR/$1,850USD).

Also on display at the pet show were hurdle jumping bunnies, a variety of cats, rats and many more.
