Jamon The Adorable Micro Pig In Fancy Dress Becomes An Internet Sensation

He might be hogging the limelight, but stylish Jamon the micro-pig has nearly 60,000 followers on Instagram and attracted over 300,000 likes on Facebook. The little pig from Sao Paulo, Brazil, is dressed up and snapped by his proud owner Andrea Mendes, 35, who was given Jamon as a Valentine's Day gift after her dogs passed away in 2013. The one-year-old porker is a mixture of Vietnamese, Cerdo Enano and Kunekune breeds, but he's no bore when it comes to style, favouring a pink tutu, a pirate hat or even a turtle suit in the name of fancy dress. But despite his diminutive size, he still pigs out up to six times a day and spends most of time lazing around the house or having fun with his younger brother Nero the pig. Andrea was encouraged to set up an Instagram account after she started to stockpile snaps of the fashion savvy pig. She said: "There are lots of different reasons people are attracted to his pictures. He's cute, he has a funny name and his costumes are fun. The response from fans has been amazing."
