Although the missile launch was successfully aborted, things have gone south in a hurry; our heroes' former commanding officer, General Sloan, has gone completely insane, Spider is dead by his hand, and Rex has been stripped of his equipment and left for dead in a cave system that seems to be the home of the monstrous blood dragons. The only sliver of hope comes from Sloan's associate, Dr. Elizabeth Darling, who seems to want to help defeat her employer. But first thing's first, we need to get the hell away from these things!
