Crab Attacks Origami Fish! - Underwater Origami - Funny Animals

Dislike 0 Published on 23 Aug 2016

All that glitters is not fish! While shooting pictures for a new Underwater Origami project, a crab tried to grab my origami fish made of aluminium foil! Will the fish escape or will the crab drag it under his rock?

I designed this easy to fold origami fish, so I'm very happy that a crab thought it was a real fish, worthy of being eaten! :-)
There are even some tiny shrimps who are curious about this glittering fish.

If you want to make your own origami paper fish (or silver or gold fish!), try my origami fish tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46VUpyQHBoU

To make this fish I used cooking aluminium foil. It's very thin and a bit hard to fold, so it's best to practice with paper first.

I'm making a gallery of origami fishes to showcase the fishes you have made with my origami fish model: http://origami.plus/origami-fish

The fishes you have sent me look wonderful, please send me more of them at stephane@origami.plus and I will add them to the gallery.

While I was at the beach, I also took pictures of the traditional 2-fold sailboat origami model (tutorial at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcieP3uy4Dc ).
It's a great model to play in the sand... or on your desk at work, while dreaming of escaping to far away tropical islands!
I'm also making a gallery of origami sailboats so please send me pictures of your paper boats while you are on vacations, or at work. :-)

And if a giant octopus attacks your boat or a crab grabs your fish, please record a video and sent it to me as well!

Thanks a lot for watching this underwater origami video, reading this description, and hopefully sending me your origami pics!
