Warty Frogfish - Antennarius maculatus in the home Aquarium.
These wonderful interesting cryptic fish are ideal for the quiet species only marine aquarium, which the aquarist has no interest in keeping other small fishes and crustaceans; as they will be preyed upon.
Warty frogfish can be kept in small nano aquariums, and not fussy with decor, but should by provided some rock work for the frogfish to perch on, as the wait for prey to swim by. They can be kept in reef aquariums, which do not have sessile stinging invertebrate like sea anemones or elegance corals which can potential harm these fish.
They only require too be feed two to three times a week, as a result, they add very little bio-load to the aquarium, also their feces can be easily spotted and can be removed with twissors. The only drawbacks to these fish is that they must be fed live foods initially and prefer gut-loaded river/grass shrimp or small marine fishes. That being said they can be trained to take frozen food in time. The most common method used is to jiggle the food in close proximity to the fish, using a long stick, rod, or grippers. This jiggling mimics live prey. Thin acrylic rods are best for this method. All that being said frogfish make for a fascinating display animal.
