Like all good stories, this one begins with the love between a father and his four-legged companion. When Koko broke his favorite talking toy, Pet Qwerks founder Jim Gick didn’t know what to do--he put the toy aside, but Koko remained mournful. Eventually, inspiration struck in an unlikely place--a ball shaped yoyo. Jim saw that the yoyo was the perfect size for his furry friend and after a little creativity and force, the talking components and a new motion switch were nicely glued inside. Koko’s ears raised and his eyes lit up at the creation! He immediately fell back in love with the familiar noises and the new shape was ideal for hours of wild chasing.
