A voice impression of what my dog thinks when I take her for a walk. This is a nice short story about a dog walk. Hope you like it!
What do dogs think? Is he/she thinking about past walks and what happened. Are they thinking about their owner and what they are doing?

THE SCRIPT
oh hello I am a dog
so I walk
ahead from the human
we walk together I don't know why
I feel it's a dog's duty to check out the river
I wouldn't ever go in it
not by my own choosing
you know once I came to the river and my
owner threw me in
not a big pickup and chuck kind of throw
more a deliberate nudge
but I got wet anyway
for some reason I enjoyed it
there are times at the river when we
bring a ball with us
there are arguments over who should be in charge of that ball
last time he threw the ball
something happened
it vanished
they are saying
I lost it
you know what
I was in charge of that ball at a difficult moment
a pigeon went across from us and up into a tree
now I had to chase that pigeon
if I hadn't followed that pigeon it
would have got away
it got away anyway of course
they always do
after that there was no need for a ball at that time
I felt
but nevertheless
I feel now that the humans are suspicious near those trees
imagine that
suspicious of me for some reason
