Chickens First Snow/Birds Sliding Off the Roof FUNNY

The chickens first snow. We got our first significant snow on November 12th. I went out to feed the birds in the morning, but they refused to come out of the coop. I ended up feeding them in the coop, thanks to a comment on Facebook. All the birds pretty much stayed in the coop all day. The turkey and quinea were brave enough to venture out later. The guinea decided to fly onto the roof of the cabin, but were sliding off. Crazy birds! I shoveled their run the next day so they could come out and enjoy the fresh air.
We never really had this problem in NV, since we didn't get this much snow. This was definitely new to me. Can't wait to build them a permanent coop with a bigger run. #chickensinsnow #winteriscoming #birdsslidingoffroof
