Fish for your Health

Eating fish has health benefits for men, women and children. The Ohio Department of Health advises that everyone limit consumption of sport fish caught from all water bodies in Ohio to one meal per week, unless there is a more or less restrictive advisory. Fish consumption advisories are subject to change based on new data. Use Ohio EPA's Sport Fish Consumption Advisory to help choose which, and how much, fish you eat. If you eat fish often, you should eat a variety and choose fish with fewer contaminants.
