Hey guys!
In this video I chat to nutritionist Brittany Darling about some quick tips to having a healthy diet. :)
Here is a list of things covered in the video for your reference.
- What to include: 'good' fats (fish, nuts & seeds, eggs, olive oil, coconut oil), green leafy vegetables, brightly coloured fruits and vegetables, protein in every meal
- What to exclude: 'bad' fats (fast food, deep fried food, fats from animals with added hormones), sugar, artifical sweetners, refined flours
- Healthy snack ideas: nuts, carrot/celery sticks & hummus, apple slices with ABC nut butter
- Foods for healthy skin, hair & nails: lots of water, protein, zinc (mussels, oysters, kangaroo meat, pumpkin seeds)
- Ideas for healthy treats: raw cacao balls, cakes using almond meal instead of flour, baking using cacao powder vanilla bean powder & cinnamon
