I forgot to mention, about making those initial adjustments and getting the elephant nose fish to begin eating:

This is what I did and it worked!

1) Day One : frozen brian shrimp

I used about 4 cubes day one...
thaw frozen brian shrimp in jar of water and strain.
Place spread strained and rinsed brian shrimp into the aquarium morning and evening.

this causes the water to be full of nutrients and I saw flipper eat one or two.

Clean aquarium. - syphon out old shrimps the next morning.

2) Day Two.

Same as Day One.

3) Day 3

Place thawed, strained, rinsed brian shrimp 1 cube in wide-mouth short jar full of aquarium water. Wait for food to sink to bottom of jar. Slowly lower jar to bottom of tank and set on its side (Wall-mart 3 wicks scented candle jars are perfect. The lip helps keeps the food in when elephant nose fish is eating ravenously.

Elephant nose will look forward to his jar being lowered each day! 2 frozen cubes a day plus a couple pinches of live blood worms and API tropical sinking pellets will keep him very well fed and happy!
