The Very Best Diet to Lose Weight

According to a 2008 study in the New England Journal of Medicine, low-carb diets are the very best for losing body fat and improving cholesterol numbers. (This particular study compared low-carb diets to low-fat diets and the Mediterranean diet). Perhaps even more remarkable was the fact that the low-carb diet beat out these other two diets without even restricting calories! (Note: Mark Sisson recommends 50-100 grams of carbohydrates each day for maximum fat burning).

The only diet that I currently recommend is the Primal (or Paleo) diet. (I am personally on this diet permanently). The primal diet includes meats from grass-fed animals, wild fish, raw dairy, vegetables, some fruit, some nuts, and some seeds. (Note: When choosing fruits, berries are best because they are very nutrient dense and also lowest in sugar).
