Feeding my Aquarium fish Earth Worms

In this video i will be feeding my aquarium fish earth worms. I am currently running low on fish food and with the ongoing pandemic it might be a little while before i get some more fish food. This means that i need to find new and alien things to feed my aquarium fish. I have recently fed my fish carrots, peas, and now earth worms.
Worms are high in protein and are a great food for carnivorous and omnivorous fish but there are some downsides to feeding aquarium fish earth worms. Fish that are notorious for over eating such as bettas may try and bite off more than they can chew as they will often try and eat worms that are the same size as them or even bigger and they may even try multiple worms so it is a good idea to control what each betta eats. This overeating can also cause digestive problems so after a big feeding of earth worms its a good idea to starve the betta for a day or two or feed the bettas mushy peas as it acts as a laxative and flushes out their digestive system.

Not all fish will be interested in eating earth worms as some fish tend to only eat vegetation or algae for example i have some Siamese algae eaters in one of my tanks and they weren't interested in the earth worms at all. I would not recommend that you feed earth worms regularly as they can be dangerous for some fish as they may choke trying to eat the earth worms.
I hope you enjoy this video please let me know in the comments if you have any other ideas for things that i could feed my aquarium fish and if you have fed your aquarium fish earth worms as well
Thanks for watching :)
