Great argumentative comment:
"There's no analysis here. For example, ash content. This is a condemnation of every food that that contains an ingredient with the suffix "meal" because "it's a filler", which isn't true. For example, soy bean meal, "Can't even use real soy beans", are just soy beans with the oil extracted (which I don't want floating around my tank!) and it is a protein supplement, not a filler. It's also expensive and many farmers seem to be looking to replace it for cheaper alternatives, it's not crap. It's used in fish food to reduce the need for as many wild caught fish to be used as fishmeal, which again isn't a filler or crap, it may be trimmings from fish for human consumption or whole wild caught fish that are not used for human consumption. One study showed that it can be used as replacement up to 57% without any negative effects, although it may have been species specific."

This is why I make my own food for my gold fish and and working on a flake recipe for my guppies. I leave Omega pellets for friends to feed when I'm out of town.

Pretty basic lol. I use whole salmon fillets, shrimps, and whatever white fish is on sale (2-1-1 parts to equal about 45% of the entire batch), boil with just enough water to cover, throw a child sized multivitamin in (powdered with a hammer first), then pumpkin puree, Swiss chard or mustard greens, garlic cloves (2-3), carrots (all small and equalish parts of veg). Puree with an emersion blender until smooth, add some unflavored gelatin, and pour out in a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Once cooled, I cut it into cubes and freeze into little ziplock baggies. I have seven goldies, they eat 2-4 cubes a day. It makes the tank cloudy for a bit as they rip the cubes apart, which if you increase to more than just a packet of gelatin doesn't happen, but I only use one.

Yes you linked a brine shrimp cube but you were comparing tropical flakes. So I pulled the ingredients from the tropical flakes from the Amazon seller you love. I'm not arguing your reasoning on the bad food... But a whole video just to link an Amazon freeze dried brine shrimp I think is a bit deceiving and click baity.

You should make another video and compare just freeze dried brine shrimp.

I feed NorthFin pellets, Omega One flakes and Nutrafin Bug Bites to mine. Best I could find locally.
