Feeding Water Louce to my Aquarium fish and Betta, Feeding frenzy

Dislike 0 Published on 18 May 2020

In this video i will be feeding water louce to my aquarium fish and betta. In one of my recent videos i started a water louce culture in my garden from water louce that i had caught in my little nature pond at the bottom of my garden. My culture has only been set up a week so i am not harvesting any water louce from my culture just yet. So i caught some more water louce from my pond along with other aquatic crustaceans and worms to feed my aquarium fish.

I have already fed some of my bettas including my elephant ear betta some water louce and they really enjoyed eating the live food but in this video i thought i would see if some of my other aquarium fish would njoy eating the water louce and hopefully it would cause a feeding frenzy.

Its always a good idea to feed live foods to your aquarium fish and feeding live foods means that you get to see a lot of behaviour that you dont normally see if you feed frozen foods and dried foods. As well as a feeding frenzy you will also see hunting behaviour as the bettas especially will hunt around the tank looking in the vegetation for the live foods and as the water louce are live they will hide in the vegetation and can even survive in the aquarium. This means that the fish will still be feeding and hunting for some time after you have put the live food in the tank.

I am also looking to re home some fish so if you want some keyhole cichlids, Bolivian rams, cherry barbs, black ruby barbs, Siamese algae eaters, or a large red tail black shark and you live in the UK let me know in the comments below.

Thanks you for watching i hope you enjoy :)
